Two families who are best friends purchased vacant side-by-side lots in the Heritage Historic District with the intent of building homes and becoming neighbors. Each was drawn to Heritage Neighborhood by the warmth of its iconic bungalow architecture and each desired to capture the spirit and style of the neighboring historic homes. The design response was to create a modified American Foursquare and an Airplane Bungalow that felt right at home in their surroundings, yet provide spatial arrangements and conveniences to meet contemporary living needs.
